Dear Community Members,
As we set sail into 2010 and a new semester in the Kittery Adult Education Program, we invite you to come aboard and to capture the moments with us.
This semester you can gain the skills and strategies you need to capture a job. You can take a 60-hour free daytime Work Ready Training Program beginning in early February, you can prepare for opportunities in the Medical field through our Medical Certificate Programs, or you can gain support in finding employment by joining our monthly Job Networking Group. Now is also the time to enroll in courses to finally capture that
unfinished high school diploma or earn that GED.
You can capture local historical moments by taking a Photographic Tour of Kittery Point, by learning about the History of the Memorial Bridge, by discovering the forgotten tale of the “Wreck of the Isodore”, or by taking a Fort Foster Historical Walk.
You can capture your family history and past memories in writing by Creating a Written Mosaic of Your Life, by Publishing your Family Stories, or by Creating a Family History Video.
Come register to capture the moments with us at Kittery Adult Ed. before we embark on this semester’s voyage. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn the Art of Making Applehead Dolls, of Making Eco-Friendly Paper Bag Scrapbooks, of Doing Botanical Drawing in Historic Gardens, or of Learning the Fundamentals of Sailing to set sail on your own voyage this summer.
